Managing Director’s Christmas Note

J&J Franks Skip Hire

Another Successful Year With All Aspects of The Business Seeing Substantial Growth

Accreditation Successes include attainment of FORS (Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme) accreditation, ISO 14001 (Environmental) and ISO 9001 (Quality) a process of improvement in which the Company will continue to invest in during 2016.

Sadly our Betchworth sand site is nearing the end of its sand reserves which will run-out during 2017. Many builders will miss our Betchworth Sand, famous for its high quality. Happier news is that our new site at Mercers Farm, near Nutfield will come on stream early in 2017 to provide continuity of supply to builders and building materials producers throughout the region.

We are investing heavily in the Nutfield project and our great friends Gallaghers have just completed the new bell mouth onto the A25 and the construction of the first 550 meters of road into the new quarry. In early 2016 we commence the importation of inert materials into the site to complete the road construction.

No doubt 2016 will throw-up some challenges for us all but with the support of our loyal customers, staff and suppliers I feel confident that 2016 will be another great year.

With thanks from myself and the Franks management team, have a very happy Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
